During this economic downtime, what should each one of us do to live a prosperous life?
Do you know what God is saying to you in this season as a business man/woman?
MPD Group has invited Mr. Mike Frank to be the speaker for this young adult professional workshop. Mike has over 30 years of experience in the marketplace. Below is Mike's bio:
Mike Frank is among America’s most successful businessmen. With more than three decades of senior-level executive experience, primarily in human resources, at multi-national Fortune 500 corporations, high performance start-up ventures and non-profit organizations, Mike is a recognized expert on taking leaders beyond personal success into a life of significance.
In 1985, PepsiCo recruited Mike for a senior-level position in human resources at Frito-Lay in Dallas, TX and then, a short time later, promoted him to Vice President of Human Resources at their Taco Bell operations in Southern California where he was responsible for more than 70,000 employees. By 1992, when the Walt Disney Company brought Mike on board as their Vice President of Human Resources – Consumer Products, he had become a key figure in executive recruiting and the development of the next generation of corporate leaders.
In the twenty-two years since starting with Mutual of Omaha, Mike had achieved not only title and position but also the skills and know-how necessary to take highly successful executives and the companies they run through high growth and major transition.
In 1994, after a “dream discussion” with his wife, Robbie, Mike left Walt Disney to co-found MFS Communications, a small start-up telecommunications company out of Omaha, Nebraska. With the pending deregulation of the high-speed telecommunications industry along with changes in wireless technology, Mike and his co-founders took MFS from 100 employees to over 6,000 in a little over two years. With the passage of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and after taking the company public, MFS was bought out by WorldCom in 1997 for $14.2 billion, making the sale the largest acquisition in NASDAQ history.
After staying five months with the WorldCom transition team, Mike along with three other executives founded Level 3 Communications, an internet technology company built to handle internet traffic that is the “backbone” of much of the world’s internet/data/voice traffic.
Despite the success of Level 3, the illness and death of his youngest daughter, Lexie, brought Mike and his family to a different turn in the road. In 1999, Mike stepped aside from Level 3 and three years later, started Frank Consulting, a one-on-one executive coaching and consulting company. Mike has recently morphed this company into a new venture called Vy Group, based in Northern California. This new company takes CEO’s and business owners on a unique journey so that they can be the best they can be for themselves and others. This is done through a series of weekend events and an ongoing peer to peer coaching network.
Mike and his family currently reside in Redding, CA.
This event is hosted by partnerships with various churches and organizations. We welcome your support, sharing of resources and sponsorship.
